Happy Birthday Grant!

Little Yinan is two! Oh how we wish we could all be there to celebrate with him. I have sent gifts and hopefully he will have a cake delivered today. We are about to go to bed - he is about to celebrate his big day - half a world away. My heart is very heavy. I do wish we could have brought him home by now. I am trusting His timing, some days are just more difficult than others. I am also sad thinking about all the orphan's lives that are not celebrated.

Birthday blessings sweet Grant!

Ohhh I know the "happy/sad" feeling, Teo became 2 during our wait for LOA, so we were not alloved to do anything. At first I cried, but after a while I got up and went out shopping and bought him the nicest birthday presents, now waiting for him in his room! And as a matter of fact w will salubrate his Gotcha day and birthday every year from now on
:-)...Hugs Tina

Happy Birthday, Grant!

I know the feeling. Our daughter celebrated her last birthday without us on 10/10 also!

You'll be with Grant soon.

Thinking of you today, Ashley! Knowing it is heavy & hard to celebrate your son turning 2, when you are sleeping HERE and he is, well, a world away.

Happy Birthday, Grant. May God give you the peace of heart to KNOW that your family is COMING soon!!!

XO,
Sara

Hi! I just came across your blog and was intrigued by your son, Grant:0) We, too, have a son Grant, who is also from China and we are celebrating his 3rd birthday today, but his first with us. We adopted him this past December and he is so very wonderful!!! Will be thinking of you as you anticipate the arrival of your dear Grant. May this time of waiting fly right by!!
Many blessings to you and your family,
Lori Mast

What a blessing to know it's his LAST birthday without being surrounded by his family. Maybe even Christmas?!

Just think about this time next year...there'll be cake all over, yahoo!!!
