Grant's Birthday Party!

Today I received Grants's birthday party pictures. It looks like they got him up from his nap and the celebration began. I LOVE the cake complete with a firework on top. He looks a little frightened - at almost 40 I too might have been a little nervous about the flame.
I wonder if it is as good as it looks? Have to try it out in China."Mmmmmm"
Any ideas about the red dot?
It is amazing how this girl can feed a two year old frosting and not have a lick on him. How did she get him to keep his hands on the table?
"Whew, sensory overload, can I go back to my nap?"

What precious, priceless, sweet, perfect pictures of your son celebrating his LAST Birthday alone!!!!!

I think the red dot is for luck! Makes sense they would wish "luck" for him on his birthday. And especially on a day when his parents are going to see the pictures!

Wow, what a cake!!! Nice to see him beeing salubrated like this! It seems to be a very good cake, but I think you should watch your hair when you sit near the olympic fire on top or it :-)

Do you think they have fire extinguishers nearby with the size of that torch of a candle?!

Next year, all his siblings will be in the picture singing! What a glorious day!

Man what a cake!!
Yummy!!!
He is adorable
This is the info I found on the red dot from wikipedia -
"It depends on the part of India you are referring to. In certain regions it means the woman is married, in others it is simply a body decoration. It is in between the eyebrows because this area is a major nerve center in the human body. It is also the sixth chakra, the third-eye chakra. It is the seat of wisdom and is related to clear insight."
much love
