Yesterday our agency told us we have TA (travel approval)! I am so absolutely grateful to our gracious Lord for Grant. We are still ironing out the details. I am having to slow down my desire to jump on the next plane. I am so thankful to have a husband that can think clearly and reasonably in the center of excitement. He is a rock no matter what the circumstances and oh how God knows exactly what I needed in a husband. I adore Skip and I am thrilled that adoption is a part of our story - such an incredible adventure. God is so good!
Skip and I will be traveling alone. We are wanting to leave on Thanksgiving Day and hopefully we will have a Consulate Appointment (CA) on December 8th or 9th. I have no concerns about our travel, however, the children's plans are a different story. We will leave all 5 here - two will go to my parents (out of state)- one to Skip's parents (out of town) and two will stay here with friends. I know our children will have a great time on their vacations away from home - and very well taken care of. It is just difficult to ask so much from our family and friends. Two weeks to iron out all the details, pack for 8, and get prepared to receive such a beautiful gift.
- We are praying for wisdom, discernment, guidance, and for Grant's heart.

So so so excited for your entire family. The kids will have a blast while you're away, and goodness, what a time for the 2 of you. And Grant, oh, I can hardly stand it. Looking so forward to watching from here! I hope you'll post while you're there...and wow, that's really soon!
Congratulations!
I remember feeling the same way before we left to meet our daughter. Remember that your friends and family truly want to be there to help out during this time.
May God give you peace and grant you safe travels as you journey to Grant.
Praying for you and yours and you make the final plans for your travels. So glad your husband is such a rock you can lean on... mine is the same, and he is such a blessing. You're so right...God knew just the kind of man we both needed to marry!!
And I'm sure your family and friends are more than happy to help you out with the kids. It makes them all a more central and special part of your adoption journey, and I'm sure they are excited to be a part of helping you out!! Praying that you get all the details worked out and that everyone stays healthy for some Happy Travels to your precious Grant! SO happy for you!! :) And thank you for your kind comment on my blog today! Have a blessed weekend and have fun packing! <><
Joyful Hugs,

Congratulations!! I just jumped over to your blog to catch-up and read such wonderful news! I'll be praying for you and can't wait to follow your trip to your son via your blog.
How exciting to have your TA and know that Grant will soon be in your arms and home! I just happened by your page and scrolled down and read your post on your history with ND--my heart is SO there since finding them this Spring! AND your journey through Faith (and Faith the girl) oh my! I love your thoughts on her being God's invitation. You are so strong and blessed to see and accept this. We wish you the best with your new member of your family. If you go to ND on your trip please give Samuel and Elizabeth huge hugs for me? Not to have favorites ... but I do! Samuel just melts my heart. And stop by our blog sometime.
Blessings!
