Our agency helped us send a
care package to Grant. The only
stipulation is it has to fit into a Zipl@c bag. I had a very hard time fitting everything I wanted to send him into a Zipl@c. I will say I hope the bag did not explode on its way to our agency in Washington.
We sent Grant clothes, two cameras for his foster family to fill with
pictures, a photo album with all of our pictures,
snugly blanket and two small squirting animals.

I also made him this blanket to hang in his crib. I must say it is very strange to have a child so far away. I am thankful for this summer, which has kept us quite busy. Grant should receive this surprise this week.
I over heard Quinn telling his swim teacher about his brother. She asked him his name and Quinn said, "His name is Grant, because Grant is a very strong name." We pray for Grant's strong heart and strong growth.

What a sweet gift! I can see that you put a lot of heart into it. And what size of Ziploc did you have?!...holy-moly!...I can't believe you got all of that in there!! ;o)
You have a beautiful family and your Grant is just precious! I found your blog through comments you left on the NDFH blog, and decided to check it out. I love following fellow-adoptive families on their journey to their little ones! Congratulations on your precious little boy and God bless!! <><

Ok those sweet little clothes just made me tear up but the blanket just set me over the edge
I am so excited to meet him and pray for him daily - what a blessing
Much love

That blanket you made is so sweet! I'm sure he'll get lots of good use out of those clothes. When do actually get to bring him home?

You are quite the packer, my friend!
Congratulations on getting settled into your home... or at least unpacking most of it ;)
Hope your kids at home and at school are off to a great year.
And is that a new photo you have? If so, I'm so happy for you. If not, have you joined your SWI yahoo group? Maybe there are more photos and traveling families.
Your heart string tugs are understandable, but in the mean time, all the things you do prepare for him will help you mark the days until you hug him.
Thinking of you and wishing you Godspeed to travel!
